Big Girl Food

Jovi has started eating big girl food now! The doc had us start rice cereal and stage 2 baby foods. She can have yellow, orange, and white foods only, and no proteins.

She is getting better at it everyday, and she seems to enjoy the challenge.

Jovi smiles and laughs all the time now. It is so much fun to talk to her, and hear her "talk" back.

4 Months Old....

Jovi turned 4 months a couple of weeks ago. Here are some of her pics. I am going to try and get Ben to let us get professional pics at 6 months. We've not had any pics done in a studio, so I think we should have at least 6 months, 12 months, and then yearly pics until she starts having school pics.

My First Mother's Day

I had my first Mother's Day last weekend, and it was wonderful. We had a great day.

Jovi Lou Who Goes to the Zoo!

Okay, so I am a total slacker. I have not updated in almost a month. But I finally am finding some time to get back on the blog.

Jovi had her first trip to the zoo on the first weekend in May. She couldn't see everything, but it was still a nice day out as a family.

We had to stop and check out the kangaroos. The most important animal in the zoo.

We saw the gorillas too. Jovi did not know what to think of these guys.

The flamingos really got her attention. I think they were the only thing bright enough to keep her sights on.

By the time we got to the koalas Jovi was sleeping like a koala. HEE HEE.
