Farewell Marlo...Hello Stella!

Okay, the '92 Chevy Cavalier has been retired. Her name was Marlo, and she has been a great little car. She got me where I needed to be, but after driving around pregnant all summer with no A/C we decided it was time to replace Old Marlo.

Welcome to the family. After driving my new Hyundai Santa Fe for a couple of days I have decided that her name is Stella. Don't know why, but she feels like a Stella. :)

This is my first car to pick out for myself. Marlo was my first car ever, and I did not get her until I was 23 years old. My Grandmother had given her to me as my college graduation gift, and it was greatly appreciated.

Lots of storage...Perfect for all of the baby junk and road trips to Houston!

Jovi's 1st Valentine's Day

Jovi had her first V-day this past weekend. She was very curious about all her presents from Cupid!

She got to wear her new V-day outfit from Grandma Garcia, and her adorable pink leg warmers. Jovi looked so trendy.

I am obsessed with BabyLegs legwarmers. If I were rich I would buy one of each pair.

They are so darn cute. Especially on my little sweetie pie. :)

Ben's Weekend Project

Ben spent all day Saturday building us spice racks for our pantry. For the past 2 years, all of our spices have been crammed into a cabinet. We've had to dig through them every time we cook anything, and I have to listen to Ben curse through the spices. Now we can see them all. Ben is so proud of his work, and they look really nice. He is getting better and better at his carpentry skills. Fortunately, for him, I keep coming up with projects for him, ha ha.

Jovi turned 1 month old this past Saturday.

Last Week...

Okay, here are pics from her 3 week birthday last week.

Jovi's friend Mr Lion. She loves to stare at him. I don't know what is so interesting about him, but he entertains her for hours.

Her shirt her is 100% true. Her mommy does love her. We had to roll her sleeves to make this outfit fit. She was 7 lbs 5 oz as of last Saturday, so hopefully she'll be able to fit in her clothes soon. We've been having to put her in preemie clothes.

Look at my little sweetie! She sure is cute. She also loves her frog socks that her Grandma bought her.

Goopy-Eyed Girl

Okay, so my poor little angel has bacterial conjuctivitis in her left eye. We've been putting antibiotic eye gel in her eye 4 times a day since last Saturday. Its looking much better, but its been a long week.
