Leprechauns in the McCarty House - St Patty's Day 2012

We caught some leprechauns that were on the loose in our house on St Patrick's Day. I even caught them with the camera. Ben will never have to pull out the shot guns for Indie's dates...we'll just pull out the bearded baby photos. That'll scare any unwanted male suitors off, ha ha. Jovi was smart and said it was "too scary." Smart girl! I guess I'll have to resort to pulling out the photos of her picking her nose when the fellas come around, HA!

This was Indie's first St Patrick's Day...I have a feeling she may not want to participate in any future ones.

Is it just me or does the one on the left have a striking resemblance to Grandma Froggie? Ha ha, just kidding.

Both of my leprechauns got their gold coins. I love Indie's face in this one, ha ha. "I got me gold."

Searching for her gold coin.

Got it!

"How could you let them do this to me, Jovi?"

See I knew there was a resemblance. HA HA!

Jovi thought her baby needed to be dressed as a leprechaun, too.

And she needed to see herself in Grandma Froggie's mirror.

Night-Night Time With Daddy

Too cute. Jovi fell asleep on Daddy.

Indie and Her Big Girl Teeth

BIg Girl teeth. I think braces may be in order with that top gap. HA HA!

Whoa, That's some serious stink eye.

Profile pic.

Jovi's New Glasses

This first picture is of Jovi's old glasses. The rest of Jovi are with her new big girl glasses. They are way cool. She loves them. Oh, and i had to add a few of my big sitting up girl, too.

Indie's First Valentine's Day

I made the girls Valentine's Day shirts this year. They turned out so precious...I'm way proud of them. One might say...I HEART THEM!
Sorry, a little Valentine's Day humor.

So as usual, Jovi was not as thrilled about taking photos, but Hey, Indie was hammin' it up for the both of 'em.

We call this her "Blue Steel" look. Ha!

Sorry, Jojo insisted on wearing a diaper, but at least, she kept her bow in her hair.

Look how crunk Indie is about her shirt!

Monkey Gals

I'm a huge fan of the indie rock band, 100 Monkeys. So when I realized that I accidentally put both girls in monkey jammies, I had no choice, but to take a few snap shots.

Bottle Holder

Oh, snap! Indie finally started holding her own bottle in January. So exciting! It's so much easier now that I can just hand it to her, and let her feed herself.
Parents know how nice that is.

Jovi's Veggie Tales Tat

Okay, so in Jovi's birthday party goody bags they got Veggie Tales temporary tattoos. Here is Jojo with her Madame Blueberry tattoo. She thought she was super cool. She's even the one that asked me to take a picture of it.
"Get the cam-wuh, Mommy!"

Jovi Turns 3 - A Veggie Tales Birthday Party!

Jovi turned 3 in January, so we had a Veggie Tales Birthday Party! It was totally awesome, so awesome, in fact, that she is still talking about it in March.I guess I got some cool mom points. I can't believe she is already 3 years old. Time has flown so fast, and now my baby is going to be turning 1 in a month. Crazy!

Balloon Playing.

I made a photo booth board out of crepe paper (streamers). I figured we could get a picture of Jovi with all of her guests. I will use fabric next time. I think that would be easier to hang up, and to make a bigger space, because as you'll see, in almost all of the pictures, you can see beyond the board. But I'll give myself credit for the idea!

The Stripes: Mr. Don, Ms. Angie, and Aynslee. And I added a few of the girls...Aynslee, Jovi, and Mak. Mak is little Miss Photogenic.

The Walters Family: Mr Mike and Ms Becky with Macee, Mak, and Maddy. Oh, and Aynslee jumped in a pic, too, HA HA!

Brandy and Phil Pedigo...oh, and Diva Jovi...look at that face. PUNK!!

Soon-to-be Big Brother, Blane Como.

John & Natalie Como...and coming in April...Baby Jude!

Of course, she had to take pics with mommy and daddy. We would've done family photos, but Indie was napping. So we got her photo ops later.

We opened presents.

Jovi got her first vacuum cleaner, which I will teach her to use promptly.

We had a Larry the Cucumber Cake, and cookies, and being that it was a Veggie Tales Party, I put veggie dips in peppers. We also had a fruit tray, so that we would have some healthy choices with our cookies and cakes. Daddy made cheeseburgers and hot dogs on the grill.

Goodies for Our Party. Veggie Tale Cookies (which I ordered from a custom baker), Bob the Tomato Cake, The French Peas, etc.

Blowing out birthday candles on her Bob the Tomato cake.

Jovi and Mak eating goodies.

More fun with balloons.

Now starring: Jovi McCarty in Doctor Zhivago.

She's doesn't enjoy having her photo taken at all. (sarcasm)

"And ACTION!!!" What a little ham.

"Is my hair okay?" What a diva!

My Girls!

Indie had a little stare down with the balloon.
