The next day we went to the top of an old crater, but it was so cloudy that we don't have any super cool pics. So I am going to skip that day, and move on. We drove the Northern coast of Maui that day. It was awesome. It reminded me of when we lived in Portland, and we drove the West Coast. I miss that scenery.
The islands are very cool in the sense that you can drive 20-30 minutes and be in a completely different terrain. The Southern parts are mostly lava fields, and somewhat desolate.
The West Coasts are beautiful beaches; the Northern Coasts are cliffs, and ocean views; the Mid-Region is hills and farmlands, and mountains; and the East Coasts are rain forests to the fullest. Very unique.
